These are compiled insights on writing from James Baldwin, about whom I have to confess that I have read a minimal amount, and do not say it proudly. However, the advice is sound and inspiring. I had two months off during which I could have written and, another confession, I didn't. I thought about writing, and read about writing, and planned a lot of writing, but I did precious little of it. Sigh.
